Growing tips

Culture duration: 150-160 days. Direct sowing: in the open from March to the beginning of July at the latest, as bunch carrots until the end of July. Germination time up to 4 weeks at 5-35°C. Mounding, mixed cultivation with leeks, cultivation under netting and avoiding areas with fresh organic fertilizer help against carrot fly. Carrots take a long time to germinate and must be kept moist during this time. Weed regularly. Later singling is usually necessary to form large beets. Do not grow umbellifers on the same area more often than every 4 years.
