Robust, cylindrical, smooth carrot variety with good coloration and aromatic sweet taste. For early sowing and as needed every 3 weeks subsequent sowings until July. In addition, fall sowing is possible in November (catherine roots). Freezable, good shelf life. (Kiepenkerl)
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sowing depth 0.5 cm. Germination period 14-21 days at 6-20°C. Likes loose, deep and nutrient-rich soil, which is not pre-fertilized. Full sun location, avoid waterlogging, but always keep moist (carrots will otherwise burst if the water supply is different). If the carrots are too dense after emergence, it is worthwhile to pull forward or separate them to obtain a good quality. Keep rows weed-free.
