Description

The very early variety from the sativa breeding is ready for harvest after about 100 days. The long, pointed carrots of Amsterdam type are crunchy, juicy with good taste. Especially suitable for bunch harvesting and direct consumption. [Source: www.sativa.bio]

Growing tips

In rows 30 cm apart and scattered as thinly as possible, the seeds are covered only flat with soil and pressed a little. Sowing must be kept moist for a few weeks. Germination period 14-28 days at 10-24°C. Separate to a distance of at least 3 cm. Carrots are tender and need support by weeding soon. Prevent green root suckers by piling up the already somewhat larger plants. Development time: 90-100 days. Recommended cultivation period: 3-4 years.
