Conical carrot with purple outer skin that plays with yellow, orange and purple tones inside. Slightly broader-shouldered and coarser, but with good homogeneity in shape. Rapid development (about 100 days). Strong, persistent aroma with good sweetness. Type: Flakkeese 2nd (AS).
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Do not sow too early, as purple carrots are generally more susceptible to bolting. Carrots like loose soils that are not prone to siltation. If the soil is heavy, it is better to grow on embankments. Since carrots take a long time to germinate, we recommend mixing the seed with radishes. This way the seed rows are marked and by harvesting the faster radishes you automatically thin out the carrots. Carrots sown too densely must be thinned out.
