Proven universal variety (of the nantaisetype) with fine, tender-fleshed, smooth, large (ca.22cm), cylindrical, well colored carrots and good shelf life. Ideally suited as an early crop, summer carrot. The variety is high-yielding, sweet and has a strong color. Perfectly usable as juice or as a cooked side dish. Very rich in vitamins and fiber.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Cover the seed with soil. Water regularly, keep soil loose and free of weeds. Carrots love loose, humus garden soil. Do not place in fresh organic fertilizer, ensure adequate lime supply. Avoid overwatering. Carrots can also be sown in autumn and harvested in May of the following year.
