Description
An excellent cylindrical, smooth hybrid carrot for raw vegetables and as a bunch carrot. Purple Elite is a red-purple outside and contrasting yellow-orange inside carrot with a mild, sweet flavor. Medium-late variety. Purple Elite is also shoot tolerant when grown early. Approx. 25 cm/9.8 in in length and high yield.

Growing tips
Germination 2-4 weeks at 12-25°C/54-77°F. Location: sunny. Prepare seedbed thoroughly (weed-free and fine crumbly). Keep evenly moist, avoid waterlogging. Regular weeding prevents weeds from taking over the vegetables. Separate if necessary.
