Early, spherical variety with intense color and sweet taste. Suitable for freezing. Germination after 15-20 days at 8-25°C. In cold frames also from February. Partly earlier and later harvests possible depending on the producer.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Against carrot fly infestation, possibly cover with a special cultivation net (especially from the beginning of May). It often helps if the carrots are sown downwind so that the flies do not find a protected place to lay their eggs. Separation may be necessary. Even watering/moisture is important for germination and against bursting. Do not sow on freshly fertilized soil. Do not use manure. Keep weed free. Some topdressing can be done if growth is hand-high.
