Early, robust variety with mild, slightly nutty flavor. Covered, under foil or in the open field. Use as a bunch carrot. Erect, hardy foliage. Long, slender roots, rapidly turning color inside and out. Germination 14-21 days at 10-20 °C. Sometimes slightly longer periods of sowing and harvesting depending on the producer.

No manure for fertilization, adequate supply of lime. Always keep moist, carrots will burst if the water supply is too different. Keep weed-free, may be necessary to separate. Important for harvest: highest nutrient content in the morning, but lowest nitrate content in the afternoon. If possible, harvest after a few dry, sunny days.
