Description

The classic root vegetable: the carrot. The carrot is the plant's storage organ and varies in shape and color (yellow, orange to purple) depending on the variety. In the second year, the carrot shoots and forms an inflorescence. The root then withers and is no longer edible. Jerada RZ F1 is the earliest bunch and wash carrot with a development time of 85 days to harvest. It has a very sweet taste. Beautiful blunt shape

F1 Hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Carrots prefer deep, loose soil with a high humus content and a good supply of nutrients. Early and summer carrots should be sown as early as possible from mid-February, as germination takes up to 45 days at 5°C. The seedlings grow very slowly and need a lot of attention at the beginning so that they are not overgrown by weeds. It is a good idea to sow a row of radishes next to each row of carrots as marker seed. After germination, the seedlings should be thinned out.
