The early carrot 'Aron F1' (Daucus carota) is a very productive heterotic hybrid of the Nantes type. This plant develops a thick, oval, short (up to 10 cm) root consisting of juicy, orange flesh and similarly colored skin. The high quality of the harvest obtained from the cultivation of this cultivar is mainly due to the high beta-carotene and sugar content. The roots are suitable for direct consumption, for the preparation of pulps, tasty and sweet juices and other preserves. The shape of the root allows for quick, effective harvesting.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
The seeds are sown either after mid-spring or in the fall. The carrot "Aron F1", as a heterotic hybrid, is weather-resistant. However, the most abundant harvest comes from sunny locations with fertile, moderately compact, well-drained soil. Depending on the sowing date, the sweet roots are available in May or early fall.
