Description

Old and hardy variety originating from the south of France. It forms a triangular root 6-8 cm/2.4-3.1 in in diameter and 15-20 cm/6.9-7.9 in long, white with creamy white flesh, well buried and cold-resistant. It is a mixed variety: When the root is young, it is used as a vegetable. When it is older and larger, it is used as a fodder plant. Vigorous variety with lush foliage. Strong carrot flavor: better for cooking. Late and productive.

Non hybrid

Frostproof

Growing tips

The biggest enemy is the carrot fly. It is best to grow them in a mixed culture with civets, spray them regularly with lavender or tansy infusion, or grow them under a vegetable protection net.
