Baby carrot/mini carrot/small snack carrot, very sweet, juicy and crunchy. Short, conical shape, with sweet aroma and orange color. Ideal as a snack in between meals (very popular not only among children). Belongs to the "Chantenay" varieties. Can be stored well. Also in the balcony box and on heavy soils, which are unsuitable for longer carrot varieties.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sowing every 4 weeks finely distribute, 1cm deep, in the row spacing of 23-30cm directly into the open ground bed. Germination 10-20 days at 12-15degrees. Thin seedlings later, if necessary, to a distance of 2.5 cm to harvest small, sweet carrots. Thin to a spacing of 5cm to harvest larger carrots. They do best in deep, stoneless sandy soils.
