Description

Deep purple carrots with orange heart. Very old carrot variety that retains its beautiful color even after cooking. Crunchy and sweet-tasting. Late spring or early summer cultivation. Fast growing. Suitable for freezing. Non-hardy annuals. Size: 15-18 cm. Maturity: 60-65 days.

Growing tips

Sow thinly, cover lightly with soil, keep well moist, airy-sunny location, sandy-permeable soil. Germination in 2-3weeks at 13-24°C. Thin out plants to 5cm 2-3 weeks after germination.
