Long, slender, cylindrical (winter) carrot of bright orange color and aromatic mild flavor. Approx. 25cm. Crisp flesh, strong, healthy foliage and good storability. High-yielding, medium-late variety with long cultivation, largely insensitive to pests and diseases.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Germination in 14-21 days at 10-20degrees. If sown thinly, do not thin out. Because of length deep soil is important. Needs adequate water, the weeds should be weeded regularly. Late carrots can remain in the ground until autumn and harvested when the tips of the leaves turn red or yellow.
