Old country cucumber. Used as salad, peeling and mustard cucumber. Smooth-skinned, very thick-fleshed and 30-35 cm long. Young cucumbers ideal for salad. Older fruits as mustard or peel cucumbers. Suitable for outdoor use. Germination after 7-14 days at 20-25°C.

If necessary, protect with fleece or harden off before planting. Put cucumber in the open ground only with 4 true leaves. Water and fertilize regularly. Select a location sheltered from the wind. Do not use too cold water for watering. Use of compost or black mulch film helps growth by retaining heat and protects from drying out.
