Description
Antillengurke Diese Gemüserarität liefert viele kleine bis mittelgroße, eiförmige Früchte mit einem sehr angenehmen Gurkengeschmack. Sie werden am besten jung geerntet, wenn sie sich noch weich anfühlen. Die Früchte eigenen zum Rohverzehr, zum Schmoren und zum Einlegen. Auch die im Rohzustand gefährlich aussehenden Stacheln sind dann weich und leichter zu essen. Die Pflanzen wachsen rankend über den Boden oder man zieht sie an einer Rankhilfe in die Höhe, dann lässt sie sich auch leichter ernten.
