Growing tips

Germination: 5-6 days at 18-25°C. As cucumbers are quite sensitive to the cold, you should only plant them out after the Ice Saints. They also need a lot of warmth during growth and a constant supply of water is also necessary. Stress conditions such as temperature fluctuations, lack of water or frequent touching lead to the formation of bitter substances. A cultivation break of 3-4 years should be observed. Cucumbers must be able to hold on, as they form long tendrils (2-4 m). Regular harvesting increases the yield as more new flowers are formed.
