The very best cornichons ever, say French gourmets. These thin, approx. 5 cm long fruits with prickly skin taste crisp and wild. Soak them in salt overnight, rub them dry in the morning, fill them into sterilized jars and pour boiling vinegar over them. So simple! This variety is one of the last non-F1 hybrids still available.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow from mid-April in pots or from mid-May directly into the open ground. Planting distances 50x50cm. Cornichons love mature compost and a mulch cover. Cucumbers like to be in the company of sweetcorn, which provides shade. Harvest the ripe cornichons every other day.
