Description

Old outdoor cucumber variety, first documented in New York in 1893. Known among others as "Albino" or "Mezzo Lungo Bianco". Rarity, with disease resistance. Very good, mild flavor, crisp, pastel color from snow-white to cream, slightly spiny. Up to 20 cm/7.9 in long. The older the fruit, the whiter the color. Also suitable for pickling. Germination after 6-15 days at 20-25°C/68-77°F.

Growing tips

Water regularly. Location protected from the wind. Climbing aid possible. Planting under mulch film keeps the soil warm, moisture in the soil and prevents weeds. Harden young plants slightly before sowing in the open ground. Water cucumbers with water that is not too cold.
