Description

Pointed bell pepper 'Lipari', F1 hybrid, is a resistant bell pepper variety that rewards with elongated, sweet-fruity fruits. The bell pepper is equally suitable for greenhouses, cold frames and garden beds and can also be cultivated in pots. Prefers warm, sunny locations and requires maximum fertilization and adequate moisture. Between July and September, numerous elongated, pointed fruits with thick skin can be harvested. Sweet, slightly fruity and very aromatic taste. High tolerance and resistance to diseases such as tomato mosaic virus or to aphids. Thus, the use of plant protection products is usually not necessary. Germination after 15-25 days at 22-28°C.

Growing tips

Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, more likely 25°C). A bright location is also important. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruits. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
