Description

Up to 10 first green, ripe bright red, flat-round, ribbed fruits. The pericarp is very fleshy and sweet. Special outdoor suitability. (From flail).

Growing tips

Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, more likely 25°C). A bright location is also important. After germination, place slightly colder. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. A consistent water supply is also important. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruit. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
