Tomato bell pepper. Mild, sweet, aromatic and decidedly thick-fleshed, tartly spicy when harvested in the green stage. The fruit color is dark green at first and dark red when ready for harvest. The variety originates from Budapest and tastes good raw, stuffed or even steamed. Roundish, ribbed fruits with a size of about 6 x 4 cm and up to 120 g. High yielding. The plant becomes bushy and about 70 cm high. For greenhouse and outdoor use. Can be sown directly in warm areas.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow flat in seed trays and prick later. Care: water from above, fleece cover during cool nights, stick with at least 70 cm as support, mulching recommended. Cover seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, more likely 25°C). A bright location is also important. After germination, place slightly cooler. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruits. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
