Growing tips

Planting: If precultivated: 10 weeks after precultivation, if purchased: mid-May. Not before and not after mid-May. Even moisture is important. Cover seed only lightly with soil (about 0.2-0.5 cm). When cotyledon is visible, prick out into small pots and continue cultivation at about 18-20°C. Cut off fruits, do not tear, so that the shoots are not damaged. Fertilize and water regularly. Peppers need plenty of warmth to germinate (25-28°C). Harden off before planting out. Protect with a fleece during cool nights. Protect from wind. Cultivation under glass is usually earlier and more productive. Then plant out from April. Breaking out the first flower is recommended to stimulate growth and yield. Do not allow plants to dry out.
