Well-known, traditional gourmet variety with tomato-shaped, round fruits. Thick fleshed, ripening from green to red. Also suitable for outdoor cultivation. Excellent taste. (From Bingenheimer Saatgut). Planting in greenhouse from March. Plants will be significantly smaller if conditions are too cold.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Let seeds soak in water overnight before sowing. Sowing peppers needs a lot of heat for germination (25-28 °C). Too low temperatures are the most common cause of bell pepper seeds not sprouting. Cool them after pricking out, 20-22 °C in a bright place is ideal. Harden off the young plants before setting them out and protect them with a fleece during cool nights. Very sunny location, preferably in front of a south-facing wall. Also thrives well on the balcony in sufficiently large planters. Fertilize and water sufficiently, especially as soon as the first fruits are there about once a week.
