Description

Breeding ReinSaat. Also found as bell chili. Very decorative, richly bearing bell bell pepper. The red fruits, weighing about 15 g, hang like bells from the sturdy, richly branched plants. Fruits have very little pungency. Specialty. Good pickling variety. Can be overwintered as a potted plant in light conditions at 15°C. Severity 0-1, with seed case hotter, then up to severity 4. Variety from Hungary. High yielding, robust. Grows to 180 cm tall in the greenhouse. Can be overwintered indoors at about 15°C.

Growing tips

At germination keep the soil evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, better above 22°C). Once the plant has formed 2-4 true leaves, prick out. Water and fertilize regularly, the plant should not dry out. When fruiting, fertilize every 10 days.
