Sweet yellow snack bell pepper, usually described as an F1 hybrid. Also available as a mixture of hood-shaped pointed peppers with red, yellow or orange fruits that only grow to around 4 to 6 cm long. Very pleasant sweet taste and therefore well suited for raw consumption and salads. Relatively early ripening, so can also be grown outdoors. Ideal for large pots on balconies and terraces.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Cover the seeds 0.5-1 cm with soil. Germination takes place within 8-14 days at a soil temperature of 20-22°C. Peppers should be grown in nutrient-rich soil in a sunny location. For a rich harvest, the first flower (terminal bud/'king flower') should be broken out. This promotes flower and fruit formation on the side shoots. Pull the plants with 3-4 shoots and remove the remaining shoots. In Central Europe, cultivation is usually annual, but the highest yield is only achieved 2-3 years after planting. To achieve this, the plant must be overwintered indoors. The fruits are harvested from July to September, depending on the variety and weather conditions.
