The F1 hybrid sweet bell pepper 'Amboy' is a vigorous variety with a very good yield. The pointed fruits, up to 15 cm long and 4 cm wide at the top, have fleshy, up to 0.5 cm thick pericarp. They ripen from a light green to orange to bright red. The taste is mildly spicy and mildly pungent. The strong plants grow to over 80 cm tall and are very vigorous. The plants can also be cultivated in containers on the patio or balcony.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Peppers like loose, nutrient-rich and humus-rich soil. Sun and warmth promote ripening and the development of aroma and pungency. Peppers can be cultivated well in large containers. A regular supply of water and fertilizer every 14 days during the growing season is recommended. The fruits will be particularly hot if the plants receive plenty of warmth and sun and are watered sparingly shortly before harvest. Not all fruits of a plant are equally hot.
