Description

Large-fruited, medium-early ripening (120-130 days), sweet, aromatic Russian bell pepper variety. Stores well. Plant is approx. 70 cm/27.6 in high. Fruits are slightly ribbed, elongated-conical, rich red, approx. 12-16 cm/4.7-6.3 in long, weigh approx. 120-140 g, individual fruits up to 200 g, walls are approx. 6-8 mm/0.3 in thick. Growing tips

Germination temperature 25-27°C/77-81°F. Cover the seeds only lightly with soil to germinate, keep them evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C/68°F, preferably 25°C/77°F). A bright location is also important. Keep slightly cooler after germination. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits begin to form, fertilize about once a week. An even supply of water is also important. The first flower can be broken off to encourage the formation of further fruit. Locations sheltered from the wind are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
