From Italy. Also called yellow bull's horn. Fruits are yellow, elongated (about 20 cm long), thick-walled and high-yielding with mild-sweet and juicy flavor. Needs a germination temperature of min. 16°C, optimal is 22-30°C.

In the greenhouse, the culture is prolonged. Wind & rain protected locations are advantageous. Once the first true leaves have formed (about 2-4) the plant can be pricked out. Needs plenty of warmth and nutrients. A support for stability may be useful. Cultivation interval: 4 years.
