Growing tips

Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C/68°F, more likely 25°C/77°F). A bright location is also important. Pre-swelling the seeds is sometimes also recommended. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruit. Locations protected from the wind are advantageous. Better in a greenhouse. A support is useful.
