"Diamond" is a very unusual and attractive translucent white sweet bell pepper variety that produces medium-thick fleshy, blocky fruits. These are definitely delicious, rich in flavor and fruity-crunchy. The plants are stable and about 60 cm high. Remains translucent white for quite some time before turning mostly creamy yellow and then red towards the end. Can be safely harvested and eaten while white. Can be grown both in a greenhouse and outdoors in sunny locations. If planted in containers, the plants can be overwintered frost-free, they are perennial. No exact harvest period given. F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Peppers Diamond can be cultivated both in the greenhouse, and outdoors in sunny places. If you plant them in containers, the plants can be wintered frost-free, they are perennial. Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, more likely 25°C). A bright location is also important. After germination, place slightly colder. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. A consistent water supply is also important. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruit. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
