The Tramunt variety grows medium-high to high and is one of the world's 3 first extra sweet, seed-proof varieties. The corn can be eaten raw. Cook in the oven, boil and also grill. Forms large, yellow cobs. Maturation time about 105 days.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sufficient fertilization is important. For good pollination, do not grow plants in a line, but more as a block, as corn is mainly pollinated by wind. Pre-cultivation and planting out is possible. Watch for bird damage when direct seeding. (From Sativa). Pre-cultivation of corn plantlets 2-3 weeks prior to planting date is recommended. Corn germinates quickly at temperatures around 25 °C, then place in cooler conditions. Plant the corn bed on the north or west side of the garden so that neighboring beds are not shaded. (From Bingenheimer Saatgut).
