White variety developed by Luther Hill in 1902. Branches out at the base with two side shoots, each bearing one or two cobs. A total of 5-6 cobs per plant can be expected. The plants themselves do not grow very tall, only about 60 cm. Also good as a climbing trellis for broad beans. This early variety is also cold-tolerant. It is even grown in Canadian home gardens. Harvest for consumption: eat young, when the grains are still soft, fresh, cooked or grilled.
