Growing tips
Grow separately from grain or popcorn maize, otherwise it may become hard or mealy due to fertilization. Corn is a wind pollinator! You can tell when it is the right time to harvest by the coloration of the stigma: as soon as it has turned brown-red, dried out and the corn kernels have reached their final size, you can start harvesting.
