Strong-growing edible corn with long, narrow cobs and shiny black kernels. The variety is well suited for tortillas and, with the addition of about 1/3 normal yellow corn, also for polenta, which then takes on a beautiful pink color. If only the tortilla corn is used, the polenta will be too sticky. Prospecierara variety. (From bio-saatgut.de)
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
During growth, mound at least 2x. Harvest when the grains are hard. Harvest in August as soon as the grains are mature (hard). If the cobs are left outside longer, there is a risk of mold. (From Saemereien.ch)
