It is the blue-green, roundish leaves with their notched edge that are of interest in the white cabbage 'June Giant' and can be harvested from September onwards. Their spicy taste is simply unmistakable. For a good harvest, the location of White Cabbage 'June Giant' should be a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose and nutrient-rich garden soil. Under optimal conditions, Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. alba 'June Giants' grows rosette-like and reaches sizes of up to 80 cm, and widths of about 80 cm. White cabbage 'June Giants' can be used, for example, to prepare delicious salads.
