Medium-late variety that forms large and firm heads weighing up to 5 kg. White cabbage Glory of Enkhuizen 2 is quite fast growing white cabbage variety with a very good shelf life. Harvesting can be done until frost. When doing so, store the white cabbage in a cool, frost-free place. Change the cultivation area annually! Cabbage loves deep, calcareous, normal soil. Water abundantly (especially at the time of head formation) and fertilize several times. Sow thinly. Plant herb plantlets deep to the cotyledons. Mound for better stability. By covering with foil, harvest can be brought forward 1-2 weeks. The variety is best suited for making sauerkraut or white cabbage salad. Grow under a protective vegetable net.
