Mittelmeerraum, Asien, Nord- und Westafrika, Mitteleuropa

Growing tips

Thyme also thrives in poor, sandy soils. It is a light germinator, so the seeds should not be covered with soil. It is worth preplanting seedlings, as the seeds are very fine and otherwise easily outcompeted in the bed.
