Description
Fast and vigorous growing smooth-leaved endive that forms dense, heavy heads. These bleach their inner leaves themselves, becoming more tender. Requires a warm, sheltered location with deep, medium-heavy, humus-rich soil. Caution. Sowing before June may cause the plant to shoot if temperatures are too low.
