Dark green, strong-flavored rosette chicory for harvesting in late frost-free winter and early spring. Winter variety with broad, round leaves with white ribs, eaten as a salad The larger the rosettes grow, the more bitter they become. Considered frost resistant. Direct seeding is recommended.

Sowing April-August as cut chicory, July-August as rosette chicory for spring harvest. Sow in rows of 20 cm and cover with 2 cm of soil. Germination in 7-14 days at 15-25 °C. Culture duration 65-140 days. As a late salad crop, chicory is well suited as a second crop to early potatoes, cabbages and carrots.
