Description

Tennessee Surprise is a wonderfully juicy, extremely attractive beefsteak tomato from the United States. It was discovered by construction workers in an elderly woman’s garden in Tennessee and subsequently shared with others; it first appeared in the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2006. Tennessee Surprise takes a little while to get going, but keeps growing even after all the other tomatoes have gone into hibernation. A great variety.
