Beautiful ribbed flesh tomato in yellow-orange. The curious-looking fruits weigh 300-500g and are approx. 7-10 cm in diameter. Some of the fruits are hollow and have few seeds, their taste is sweet and very aromatic. Growth height approx. 2m. The variety probably originates from Russia, where it is called Lotaringskaya krasavica Oranzhevaya. Sometimes this variety is also sold under the name Pitanga orange. Cultivation advice and recommendation: Sow in March - early April at 18 - 22 C°. Plant out from May Cultivation outdoors possible - roofing advantageous.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Can be grown outdoors - roofing is advantageous. With only one stem, the fruits are larger overall, but can also tolerate 2 stems. Watering tomatoes: Depending on whether you are propagating tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often.
