Description

White Wonder tomatoes are creamy white, old American beefsteak tomatoes with a flat-round, ribbed shape and a weight of around 500-1000g. The fleshy flesh has few seeds and a yellowish-white color with a high sugar content and low acidity, resulting in an exceptionally sweet, melon-like flavor. The bushy, indeterminate plants grow to an average height of 1.5 meters and have a good leaf cover to protect the fruit. As an indeterminate variety, the White Wonder tomato plant continues to grow and produce good yields of the large tomatoes throughout the season until frost. Like all tomatoes, White Wonder tomatoes do not tolerate frost and are sensitive to low night temperatures.

Growing tips

Sow the seeds on the surface of moist, well-drained sowing soil, press down lightly and cover with sieved substrate. Place the sowing containers in a propagator or cover with a thin transparent film (remove this after germination). In a bright place at 18-22°C, the seedlings will germinate quickly (7-14 days). After about three weeks, prick out individually into pots with a diameter of 8-10 cm. Water the tomatoes: Depending on whether you are propagating tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often.
