The tomato variety 'White Beauty' is a very unusual and eye-catching tomato variety with its flat-round, white fruits. It is a French beef tomato that has been known since around 1860. Its fruits have a mild, melting taste and are also suitable for people with stomach problems due to their low acidity. They are thick-walled, soft fruits weighing 200 g and more. A very robust and high-yielding variety that is also suitable for outdoor cultivation. It is also known as: White Beauty and Beauté blanche. (From MagicGardenSeeds).
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Tomatoes need warm temperatures between 20-25°C to germinate. After germination, keep in a cooler place (max. 20°C). Sowing before March can lead to a lack of light and poorer plant growth. When pricking out, plant deeper down to the cotyledons so that the plants can develop new roots. Harden off the plants in May and plant out in a greenhouse, tomato house or open field (with rain protection). Tie to supports or ties and pinch out regularly. A location protected from rain is advantageous. Basil (against mildew and whitefly) and marigolds (against nematodes, viruses, whitefly) have proven to be good companion plants.
