Description

Winter cauliflower variety 'Balak' has firm, white heads with high foliage development and good self-covering. Uniform heads, crisp at harvest and pleasant taste. Good winter hardiness, earliness and high quality. Good for bedding in winter. Germination period 8-12 days at 15-20°C.

Growing tips

Mounding the stalks protects against frost. Powerful consumer, so enrich the bed with nitrogen. Lime can act as a protection against diseases. Molybdenum in early cultivation status can also promote plant growth. It does not tolerate waterlogging.
