Description

Organic Vetch Winterfürst 2 is a late variety with medium-sized, finely curled, firm, round to flat-round heads. However, it must be sown early and forms heads late. It can be stored well. It is best used as an overwintering savoy for harvesting in early spring. Early April to late May is the time for preplanting, and outdoor planting begins in mid-May and can occur through the end of June. Early October to late February is the harvest period. Savoy cabbage is a crisp winter vegetable, delicious with potatoes, couscous or even pasta, simply cut into bite-sized pieces and steam or stew.
