The reliable hardy Afro dwarf cabbage is a deep green dwarf cabbage that copes very well with severe winter weather. Our growers say that it can withstand anything the British weather can throw at it.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Sow the seeds thinly in a shallow, pre-watered row. Cover lightly with a little soil. Keep the soil moist until the seedlings have grown. When the seedlings have formed about four true leaves, plant them in their growing space, leaving a distance of 60 cm between the plants in all directions. Tighten them up and water them well in dry conditions.
