Historical variety. This beautiful brown cabbage shines dark wine-red to purple and grows to a height of about 1.50 m on optimal sites. 'Hoher Roter Krauser' develops large, heavily curled leaves in a loose shape and is topped by a strongly built rosette. This brown cabbage is considered particularly hardy.
