Description

Small-berried wild form that produces red, red-orange or yellow fruits of 4-6 g. Gigantic tufted wraps, which are pulled down due to the weight of the fruit. Similar to fruit tomatoes - also in terms of taste. Said to be from the Galapagos Islands and salt tolerant. Fruit resembles a bulbous flashlight pear and has a small, yet sharp point. Very profuse fruiting with 50 and sometimes more than 100 tomatoes. Place on house wall or under roof, the foliage is sensitive to cold precipitation! Culture like any other stake tomato, but better with rain protection. Very funny, richly flowering species. Good heat tolerance and very resistant to bursting.
