Produces delicious, fresh-tasting plum tomatoes with juicy, firm fruits that are almost seedless. A very high yielding and hardy variety. Early to medium early. Low, vigorous growth. Suitable for sauces.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Germination after 7-14 days at 18-25°C. Pre-growing of seedlings can be started from February. After the danger of frost ends in May, the plants are ready to be set outdoors, preferably in a full-sun location. Plenty of water and regular nutrient input will increase crop yields. Since 'Roma VF' has good resistance to typical soil diseases, cultivation usually succeeds without problems. Must be supported, tied or hung.
